Carolyn has played in ensembles large and small for many decades, and has toured throughout Europe, Asia, and the USA. Highlights include New York's Carnegie Hall, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, and major concert halls throughout Germany, Switzerland, China, and Japan. Other highlights include several film scores, dozens of recordings for CD and television, many opera and ballet performances, and more. She has also worked with many of the world's great conductors, including Vasily Petrenko, Kristjan Järvi, Donald Runnicles, and Neville Marriner. Carolyn loves to assist harpists who are new to the adventure of orchestra!

 

There is a lot to learn and it can sometimes feel overwhelming if you are not used to it.



Fortunately, there are many things you can do to help yourself be more comfortable on the stage with dozens of other musicians around you and the conductor in front of you asking for "more harp!!"
